Current Events
Students are assigned current event assignments throughout the year. Students will be given 15-20 min during class to find and print a current event article. I have attached a list of links that are from reliable, kid friendly news websites. Students are not limited to these websites and may use any news source they like. I encourage students to use the newspaper, current magazines, recorded videos, and KidBiz articles. Students will use the 6-Q's and their own analysis to guide their current event summaries.
